Irish Folk with Phil Kenny

Feels like ages, because the last concert with Irish Folk took place in summer 2012. This music had been the start for Ally as non-classical musician and she was playing for many years in different formations, like “The Sally Gardens”, “Irish Coffée”, “The Dream of Ireland”, “Phil Kenny Band”, “New Folk Compilation”…

On April 23rd all will be again about Irish Folk and with beloved colleagues “from the old times”: Phile Kenny (“Phil Kenny Band”, “Wide Range”), Sashia Haiberg (“Irish Coffée”), Steffen “Benny” Haiberg (“Irish Coffée”, “The Sally Gardens”) and Stefan “Huky” Hukriede (“Tears for Beers”).

“The Bruce 700”: premiere in Germany

Do you remember the last scene of the movie “Braveheart”? “Robert the Bruce” was able to declare Scotland in 1314 as to be independent.

So Allan MacDonald wrote a masterpiece about this historical event for orchestra and traditional Scottish Instruments. On April 9 2016 this piece will be performed for the first time in Germany (Hofheim/Ts.) due to Thomas Zöller, who invited grand names from the Scottish Folk Scene. Added by a few german colleagues, like Ally Storch.
