April 25th: we redeem our Livingroom Concert

To finance our new album of “Ally the Fiddle” we successfully used the new concept of Crowdfunding. Of course a few rewards have been left for our project. To be precise: only two. A Meet & Greet, where the lady, who bought it, couldn’t come to our date because of a traffic accident and the Livingroom Concert, which pushed us over our financial target due the Funding process.

Finally there is our concert date and we are curious for our noble donor and his marvelous concept to bring musicians to his home and create a great evening for his friends and companions.  This is the third round of his Livingroom Concerts and we are well prepared to rock his hut.

Dortmund, here we come!

April 19th Easter Fire at the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

Now it is nearly a tradition, that Ally is playing live at the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm directly at the beach of the Baltic Sea. She enchants the hotel guests with her live performance to romantic or firery playbacks, while the audience is enjoying the rushing of the sea and the brittling of the huge fire.

Her program contains titles by “Ally the Fiddle”, “Apokalyptica”, parts of the dance show “The Dream of Ireland” or tunes by Loreena McKennitt.

interruption for Ally at the Schandmaul tour

It was unexpected, as Tobi Heindl was playing on the Schandmaul stage instead of Ally on March 7th. Thomas Lindner, singer of the band, explained to the surprised audience, that Ally had come into hospital because of a circulation collapse.

Nobody should know what really happened: Ally is pregnant!!! And her “collapse” had been bleedings. Not unusual for pregnancies within the first 13 weeks; but a frightening sign for a possible loss of the growing life. So the doctors recommended a whole day in bed in absolute calmness. The bleedings stopped the same day and Ally was able to go home two days after the threat.

After an intensive check today, Febr. 13th we can proudly and official announce, that Ally is pregnant and she and her growing baby are with excellent health. And finished the critical time if pregnancy :)

But one sad side is left: because of the happenings from March 7th the band Schandmaul prefers not to continue the tour with Ally. So all upcoming shows will be played now by Fiddler Tobi Heindl.
