When I tried to marry and impress at the age of 6<\/strong> the violin paying boy from the neighborhood by taking lessons myself – I wouldn’t have thought, what a big role violin would play in my future life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least I never married him. But via music schools, private lessons and several youth orchestras I found my way to the academy “Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Theater” in Rostock<\/strong> (GER) and to the best teacher I could ever imagine, Prof. Sylvio Krause<\/strong>. This great luck helped me to get a good fundamental education and a very good diploma<\/strong>. As a part of my training at the academy I was working as a substitute in an opera orchestra<\/strong> and was able to dive into the professional world in the classic field. But at the same time I started to play in my first Irish Folk band<\/strong>. The decision to leave the classical world<\/strong> hasn’t been that hard for me, because it opened a door to a whole new universe for me this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today I am allowed to look back on a beautiful path together with bands like Haggard<\/strong> or ASP<\/strong>, Schandmaul<\/strong> (as replacement), Irish Dance shows<\/strong>, Irish Folk and Country bands<\/strong>, cover bands<\/strong>, on many guest performances and on concert journeys through half of the world<\/strong>. Furthermore I was playing in several musical styles and perform today from Jazz to Metal<\/strong> steadily in bands like Subway to Sally<\/a><\/strong>, Ally the Fiddle<\/a><\/strong> and as a sub with the Walk-a-Tones<\/a><\/strong>. And of course I am staying curious and love to participate in other projects, like as the electric violinist<\/strong> in those of Dresdner Sinfoniker<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructor\/Coach:<\/strong> Besides teaching in Private Lessons I coach at the Wacken Metal Academy<\/strong><\/a> (professional training), Hamburg School of Music<\/strong><\/a> (professional training), Wacken Music Camp<\/strong><\/a>, and give Workshops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Songwriter:<\/strong> I am writing for my own band Ally the Fiddle, participate in the songwriting for Subway to Sally, make remixes and arrangements, compose for audio books and dream secretly to make score music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio: <\/strong>My main field beside solo performing is my studio work. Here I work together with other bands and acts mainly in my home studio and in remote sessions. I offer everything a string instrument can be; solo acoustic violin<\/strong>, metal and rock solos<\/strong> with electric violin<\/strong>, single played instruments for string quartet<\/strong> with violin<\/strong>, viola<\/strong> and cello<\/strong> (yes, I play everything here), and orchestra overdubs<\/strong>.
